A beach, a stranger
and a name
Los Barriles is a small fishing town on the Sea of Cortez in Baja California. With exquisite weather and a peaceful atmosphere, it offers a perfect balance of small-town ambiance and a large sense of community. It was here that a father and son, relaxing on the beach, first envisioned a family-owned tequila.
They talked with a local gentleman throughout their trip and shared their dream with him, speaking the little Spanish they knew at the time. When Octavio Tequila became a reality, they thought of his kindness, and of sipping tequila with him on the shores of Los Barriles.
His name? Octavio.
